Gingin is one of WA's oldest towns and has many historic buildings. Situated on Granville Park this delightful old building This one is believed to have been built in the 1860s and is now Eliza's Cafe and Restaurant. It overlooks Granville Park. |

Granville Park is right in the middle of town. A fabulous lush green park complete with an historic water wheel, a children's playground and BBQs and tables makes it a great place to bring the family for an weekend of fun. |

Gingin is home to a couple of excellent wineries. Jylland Vineyard, just 2 kilometers from the centre of town, is on our must visit list whenever we are in Gingin. They have some excellent wines and co-owner Edel grocke makes a delightful platter. Read more and View Jylland's video. |

Riseborough Estate six kilometres from town on the road to Bindoon. Riseborough is a winery and art gallery with exhibitions changing regularly. The wines are first rate as are the outstanding views over the valley. Both Riseborough and Jylland are part of the Chittering Valley Wine Trail.
