He began in television in the 1960s first at Channel 7 and then at Channel Nine. It was in this high pressure world of television that he learned the basic skills and disciplines of post-production which now form the foundation of his considerable prowess as a film maker. In 1973 he started his own company The Edit Suite - specializing in post-production. Since then, his impressive mark has been stamped on thousands more commercials and documentaries - many of then award winning films. In the 1990s Alan established Alan Cox Productions and soon had an impressive client list including: The Department of Premier and Cabinet; Department of Resources Development; The Tourism Commission of Western Australia; Postcards WA; Woodside; Moet & Chandon (France); Seagrams (London); Malaysian Airline Systems, Western Power and Channel Nine. |
Alan’s current clients include: Chevron’s Gorgon Project; Morawa Council, Perenjori Council, Wildflower Country, Georgiou Group; Numan’s Group; Jylland Vineyard; Peel Ridge Winery; Western Caravans and numerous other small businesses. Alan’s vast experience and obvious talents are now available for online video commercials, corporate videos for release online, DVD or both.
